Young Band Literature Session

The Young Band Literature Sessions is an annual presentation at the Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA) Mid Winter Clinic in February. Each year, on Saturday during the clinic, we present pieces of music which are submitted by MBDA members as quality band repertoire, as well as pieces selected by our committee as an appropriate fit for young bands.

 
Please send us your favorite new pieces, or send us a tried and true piece that you couldn't teach without. Submissions are accepted year round. Submissions received by mid-November each year will be consider for our session in February. Follow the link below and be a part of YBLS tradition!
 

Copies of the music are raffled off to MBDA members in attendance, in addition to free memberships, and free registration to MBDA events.
